After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, 杜凌斌 managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Pepsi's supporters rose to their feet, but 杜凌斌 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pierre Dexter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 27 played minutes Lindfield got a freekick which was hit by Dominik Gilroy. A collision led to Lindfield getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Marek Lomas hit a great ball. Niall Anson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Niall Anson fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lindfield's protests and gave Niall Anson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 44th minute, Niall Anson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute, Niall Anson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 江朋竞 was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1.

The wind increased when Jon Bilton made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that 楚国峰's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pierre Dexter was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. 江朋竞 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Niall Anson in the 59th minute. In the 59th match minute, FC Pepsi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 曲坤宁 to maneuver through the defense. When 楚国峰 came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the FC Pepsi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 楚国峰 couldn't finish the play. If Niall Anson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Niall Anson got free with 江朋竞 in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If 杜凌斌 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 江朋竞 made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Niall Anson sent off a good shot on target. Jon Bilton let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 93rd minute shot 1-3 at rihgt post. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Lindfield walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
