With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eric Rush in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olaf Schreiber saved FC Basel 2024 from getting behind. Beltran Isenegger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Steven Bailey made a huge save. In the 91st minute, Lutger Schreiber got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 92nd match minute, Bloomsbury was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tommy Daly to maneuver through the defense. 95 minutes into the match, Bloomsbury's goalkeeper Steven Bailey had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Beltran Isenegger. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC Basel 2024 eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
