Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alan Doyle started the match with the kick off. Aaden Branson kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Bloomsbury's Gehan Palmer threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eric Rush, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Eric Rush received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Gehan Palmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gehan Palmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eric Rush in the 9th minute of play. Gehan Palmer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lloyd Ginn in the 11th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 15 minutes, Gehan Palmer successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gehan Palmer was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lloyd Ginn showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. Eric Rush recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Bloomsbury's Jeremy Talbot got a free kick in the 25th minute. Fiachra McJames took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Steven Bailey. Bloomsbury's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Aaden Branson kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Bloomsbury's Tommy Daly got a free kick in the 28th minute. Earnán Keegan was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 34 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, one of Inchibeg:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Inchibeg. The goalkeeper, Gehan Palmer, was totally fooled by Bloomsbury's Jeremy Talbot, who 37 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 40th minute Eric Rush shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gehan Palmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gehan Palmer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lloyd Ginn in the 41st minute of the match. 42 minutes in the game, Lloyd Ginn fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Gehan Palmer having to interfere. Eric Rush sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eric Rush fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gehan Palmer having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eric Rush to make the kick off. After 57 minutes, Blathma Sheridan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Inchibeg and the Bloomsbury players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Inchibeg's Blathma Sheridan got a free kick in the 57th minute. Beartlai McGlenn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steven Bailey having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Eric Rush ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gehan Palmer was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 74thth minute of the game Lloyd Ginn who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Inchibeg's Gehan Palmer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Beartlai McGlenn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bloomsbury's Eric Rush got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Beartlai McGlenn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Inchibeg's zone, Lloyd Ginn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gehan Palmer came out of the goal and Lloyd Ginn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Beartlai McGlenn got free with Steven Bailey in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bloomsbury fans cheered their team off the field, for while Inchibeg had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
