Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Firdauz Ee started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Sultan Vishveshwara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Old Leake's supporters rose to their feet, but Sultan Vishveshwara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hamir Amin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Khai Chong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 10 minutes into the match, Hillhead FC's goalkeeper Hamir Amin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bacharaja Siddhu. In the 12th minute, Apu Pawar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tan Chien-Kwan was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 13th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 24th minute Sultan Vishveshwara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamir Amin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hillhead FC's Hamir Amin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apu Pawar in the 32nd minute of play. Bhavjeet Pandey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Firdauz Ee, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bhavjeet Pandey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from SK Lim, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Sriram Gowda's late challenge caught a Hillhead FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sriram Gowda helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Old Leake getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Sriram Gowda hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sultan Vishveshwara was the one to do the kick off. Sultan Vishveshwara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamir Amin having to interfere. The throw-in from Sriram Gowda in the 54th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Hillhead FC's Mohammad Liang. Firdauz Ee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Bhavjeet Pandey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bhavjeet Pandey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Firdauz Ee in the 59th minute of the match. If Apu Pawar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Hillhead FC's Firdauz Ee slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bhavjeet Pandey. That made the score 0-3 after 65 minutes of play. 68 minutes into the match, Bacharaja Siddhu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hamir Amin. Hillhead FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bacharaja Siddhu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Firdauz Ee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hamir Amin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sultan Vishveshwara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th match minute, Hillhead FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Farhan Ching to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 83 minutes, Firdauz Ee managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hillhead FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Firdauz Ee was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hamir Amin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sultan Vishveshwara, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. A collision led to Hillhead FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Farhan Ching hit a great ball. In the 88th minute Firdauz Ee shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bhavjeet Pandey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Old Leake's Heman Chawla got a free kick in the 89th minute. Apacita Dube's late challenge caught a Hillhead FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Apacita Dube helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd minute there was a penalty for Hillhead FC. Tan Chien-Kwan stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bhavjeet Pandey. 1-4. Bacharaja Siddhu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Hillhead FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
