Olaf Schreiber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 9 minutes, Jonatan Josefsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rabonas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonatan Josefsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oswin Stante hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Rasmus Ekerot managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rabonas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rasmus Ekerot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olaf Schreiber breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rabonas FC's attentive Ernst Busk managed to snatch the ball when Paulin Feldmann made a throw-in in the 16th minute of the game. Rasmus Ekerot kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Eskil Fastesson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lutger Schreiber in the 21st minute of play. Beltran Isenegger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Olaf Schreiber breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Jonatan Josefsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olaf Schreiber was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. In the 30th minute, Rasmus Ekerot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Beltran Isenegger's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Eskil Fastesson firmly grabbed it by the left post. Olaf Schreiber didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Rabonas FC's Jonatan Josefsson shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. 38 minutes into the match, FC Basel 2024's goal looked a bit too open when Marko Åberg came free, but Olaf Schreiber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After having played for 51 minutes, Beltran Isenegger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lutger Schreiber in the 54th minute of play forced Rabonas FC's goalkeeper Eskil Fastesson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Rabonas FC booed when FC Basel 2024 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oswin Stante didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lutger Schreiber in the 65th minute of play forced Rabonas FC's goalkeeper Eskil Fastesson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eskil Fastesson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beltran Isenegger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hubert Alegren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonatan Josefsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 78th minute, Jonatan Josefsson fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Olaf Schreiber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonatan Josefsson in the 78th minute of play. Jonatan Josefsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Olaf Schreiber made a huge save. Eskil Fastesson came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Basel 2024's Lutger Schreiber. But to his dismay, Lutger Schreiber quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 83rd match minute, FC Basel 2024 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beltran Isenegger to maneuver through the defense. Beltran Isenegger struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Eskil Fastesson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Basel 2024. After a rather tough play, Rabonas FC's Malte Stålman got a free kick in the 94th minute.
