Lindfield's Pierre Dexter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vincent Signoret in the 8th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Poutier FC's goal looked a bit too open when Niall Anson came free, but Blaise Monie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Poutier FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jon Bilton came free, but Blaise Monie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 16 played minutes Lindfield got a freekick which was hit by Greg MacDonald. In the 22nd match minute, Poutier FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Davy Laurens to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 23 minutes, Brendon Holland managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lindfield's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brendon Holland was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Poutier FC's Blaise Monie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jon Bilton in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vincent Signoret in the 28th minute of play forced Lindfield's goalkeeper Pierre Dexter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niall Anson struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Blaise Monie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lindfield. After 33 played minutes Lindfield got a freekick which was hit by Camron Coogan. Léonard Helle kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Jon Bilton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the game, Poutier FC's Vincent Signoret nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pierre Dexter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Pierre Dexter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henri Fresnel in the 47th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Vincent Signoret made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Lindfield's zone, Henri Fresnel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pierre Dexter came out of the goal and Henri Fresnel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Vincent Signoret had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pierre Dexter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vincent Signoret, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Vincent Signoret sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 57th minute Vincent Signoret shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pierre Dexter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, Vincent Signoret cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Pierre Dexter was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pierre Dexter didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vincent Signoret went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 65 minutes into the game, Vincent Signoret cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Pierre Dexter was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Henri Fresnel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Pierre Dexter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vincent Signoret took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pierre Dexter. Pierre Dexter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Vincent Signoret sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henri Fresnel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The throw-in from Benji Halliday in the 85th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Poutier FC's Hubert Lange. Vincent Signoret's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pierre Dexter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Charlie Rieffel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Henri Fresnel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Poutier FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
