In the 11th match minute, FC Pepsi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 康彬银 to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, Old Leake's goal looked a bit too open when 康彬银 came free, but Bhavjeet Pandey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If 杜凌斌 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Sultan Vishveshwara's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 江朋竞 was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. In the 36th match minute, FC Pepsi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 曲坤宁 to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, FC Pepsi's 康彬银 got a free kick in the 42nd minute. FC Pepsi's defense didn't have a chance, in the 43rd minute, when Sultan Vishveshwara scored to the left of an out of position 江朋竞, making the score, 1-2. 江朋竞 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sultan Vishveshwara in the 47th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 杜凌斌 was the one to do the kick off. Apu Pawar hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. If 楚国峰 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sultan Vishveshwara in the 58th minute of play forced FC Pepsi's goalkeeper 江朋竞 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sultan Vishveshwara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 江朋竞 having to interfere. After some careless play in the Old Leake defense, 楚国峰 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bhavjeet Pandey. The Old Leake fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bhavjeet Pandey should have stopped the shot.
