Jeromy Martineau was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 28 played minutes Derby County got a freekick which was hit by Otis Kirkland. In the 29th minute of the match Jeremy Talbot shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jeromy Martineau showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Derby County's Craig Crain got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bloomsbury's Steve Davies got his second yellow card of the match in the 31st minute. The referee ordered Steve Davies off the ground. After 32 played minutes Bloomsbury got a freekick which was hit by Steve Davies. Steven Bailey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Craig Crain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute Lloyd Ginn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeromy Martineau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bloomsbury's Steven Bailey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Craig Crain in the 63rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Craig Crain's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Steven Bailey was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Steven Bailey didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Craig Crain went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Derby County's Jeromy Martineau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Derby County from getting a goal against them. Odis Perez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Steven Bailey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Theirn Vadeboncoeur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chants of Bloomsbury echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Derby County had held the ball for most of the match.
