Olaf Schreiber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vincent Signoret, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Vincent Signoret blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Olaf Schreiber having to make a save. A collision led to FC Basel 2024 getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Paulin Feldmann hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vincent Signoret in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olaf Schreiber saved FC Basel 2024 from getting behind. The Poutier FC fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Poutier FC's Vincent Signoret looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Poutier FC's Carl Pied got a free kick in the 12th minute. Vincent Signoret sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Poutier FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Hubert Lange hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the match, FC Basel 2024's goal looked a bit too open when Henri Fresnel came free, but Olaf Schreiber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vincent Signoret fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olaf Schreiber having to interfere. If Vincent Signoret had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute Henri Fresnel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olaf Schreiber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Lutger Schreiber took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Blaise Monie to make any attempt to save it. Olaf Schreiber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vincent Signoret in the 39th minute of the match. Cyril Monney's late challenge caught a Poutier FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cyril Monney helped the player get up and apologised. In the 40th match minute, FC Basel 2024 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cyril Monney to maneuver through the defense. Blaise Monie didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Beltran Isenegger went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Olaf Schreiber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vincent Signoret, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lutger Schreiber to make the kick off. Charlie Rieffel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 50th minute. Olaf Schreiber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 52 minutes into the match, Vincent Signoret dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Olaf Schreiber, 2-2. In the 65th minute, Oswin Stante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes into the match, Poutier FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lutger Schreiber came free, but Blaise Monie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Basel 2024's Beltrame Amiel got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 75th minute, Poutier FC's Charlie Rieffel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Olaf Schreiber. Olaf Schreiber yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. Olaf Schreiber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vincent Signoret, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. If Vincent Signoret had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vincent Signoret struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Olaf Schreiber didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Poutier FC. In the 89th minute, Beltran Isenegger ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Blaise Monie was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. A throw-in in the 93rd minute of the game was made by Roman Sommer with Cyril Monney as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Poutier FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
