Deportivo Mandiyu's Serafin Caitano managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Maurício Miranda in the 3 minute of the game. 5 minutes into the match, Bezerros EC's Hélder Azevedo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roque Narvaja narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luiz Fernando Peixoto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chiquito Benítez's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. With a little luck, Deportivo Mandiyu's Roque Narvaja got control of the ball when Hélder Azevedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 12th minute Chiquito Benítez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fernando Peixoto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bezerros EC's Luiz Fernando Peixoto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chiquito Benítez in the 15th minute of play. Deportivo Mandiyu's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aristides Hermelando in the 16th minute. After taking down the ball on Deportivo Mandiyu's corner Aristides Hermelando fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Luiz Fernando Peixoto quite easily take care of the ball. Bezerros EC's Luiz Fernando Peixoto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chiquito Benítez in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Alejo Bermudo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Luiz Fernando Peixoto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 32nd minute, Jonas Koldobika hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roque Narvaja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hélder Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Fernando Peixoto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chiquito Benítez in the 39th minute of the match. Deportivo Mandiyu's Chiquito Benítez got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chiquito Benítez in the 44th minute of play forced Bezerros EC's goalkeeper Luiz Fernando Peixoto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 46 minutes, Jonas Koldobika mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Mandiyu and the Bezerros EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 46th match minute, Deportivo Mandiyu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Koldobika to maneuver through the defense.

Bezerros EC's Luiz Fernando Peixoto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Bezerros EC from getting a goal against them. Luiz Fernando Peixoto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chiquito Benítez, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. When Deportivo Mandiyu's Chiquito Benítez in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Luiz Fernando Peixoto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chiquito Benítez got free with Luiz Fernando Peixoto in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 68thth minute of the game Chiquito Benítez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bezerros EC's Luiz Fernando Peixoto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Deportivo Mandiyu's Leonides Remir was substituted for Arne Bronco. The corner ended in Aristides Hermelando almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bezerros EC's Luiz Fernando Peixoto did a great save. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Benigno Larpe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Mandiyu's supporters rose to their feet, but Benigno Larpe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Fernando Peixoto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alejo Bermudo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Deportivo Mandiyu's Dalmacio Aztore quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alex Arantes, made in the 77th minute of the game. Leonides Remir hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute, Klement Lech hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute Hélder Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roque Narvaja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 88 played minutes Deportivo Mandiyu got a freekick which was hit by Benigno Larpe. An unexpectedly hard shot by Naldo Freitas in the 90th minute of play forced Deportivo Mandiyu's goalkeeper Roque Narvaja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
