Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Mickaël Maris proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Nova Iguaçu MZFC from getting a goal against them. After 57 played minutes Nova Iguaçu MZFC got a freekick which was hit by Manfredo Vale. Jukatriz's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomás Mazza ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Tomás Mazza to fire away a dangerous shot which Oséas Albuquerque despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laércio Penha in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oséas Albuquerque prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 93rd minute, Nery Dominguez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 94 played minutes, Jukatriz's Augusto Alcântara shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mickaël Maris came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jukatriz reached it. In the 95th minute of the match, Natanael Furlan got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mickaël Maris was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 95th minute, Arif Ozan Sureha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mickaël Maris was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1.
