The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Tabalongo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Trigo came free, but Zhang Hong Xun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Brun in the 5th minute of play forced Tabalongo AFC's goalkeeper Zhang Hong Xun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tabalongo AFC's Marciano Asmussen got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 13 minutes into the match, Sumaré Sport Club's goalkeeper Richard Fontes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marciano Asmussen. After 14 minutes Sumaré Sport Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Yerko Van Dijk who took care of the corner kick. If Marciano Asmussen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the match, Tabalongo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when 苏庭枫 came free, but Zhang Hong Xun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 22 played minutes Sumaré Sport Club got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Oğuz Uram. In the 24th minute, Sumaré Sport Club's Oswaldo Furlan seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Oswaldo Furlan the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Sumaré Sport Club protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Oswaldo Furlan had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Sumaré Sport Club getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Oswaldo Furlan hit a great ball. 齐誉希 struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Richard Fontes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tabalongo AFC. In the 28th minute, Marciano Asmussen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Richard Fontes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Tabalongo AFC's Zhang Hong Xun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Brun in the 34th minute of play. Alfred Chmelyk hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Mehmet Oğuz Uram kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marciano Asmussen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 57 played minutes Tabalongo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Constancio Jaque. 60 minutes into the match, Sumaré Sport Club's goal looked a bit too open when Marciano Asmussen came free, but Richard Fontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ariel Bautista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Richard Fontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zé Trigo kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. 苏庭枫 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Richard Fontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constancio Jaque in the 73rd minute of play. A collision led to Sumaré Sport Club getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Zé Trigo hit a great ball. Sumaré Sport Club's Jessica Xerifão was substituted for Xu Sha Quan. A collision led to Sumaré Sport Club getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Zé Trigo hit a great ball. Richard Fontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marciano Asmussen in the 86th minute of play. Alfred Chmelyk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zhang Hong Xun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfred Chmelyk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zhang Hong Xun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred Chmelyk, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Tabalongo AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sumaré Sport Club for a fine match.
