After some careless play in the Sinsin defense, Jos Musseeuw kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bavo Van Eeckhout. The Sinsin fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bavo Van Eeckhout should have stopped the shot. Ingvar Vollander took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bavo Van Eeckhout. Sinsin's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sinsin's Bavo Van Eeckhout played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jos Musseeuw in the 29th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Jos Musseeuw left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lamento Boliviano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 36th minute Zsolt Molnár shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bavo Van Eeckhout saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Emanuel Vanooteghem put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Augusto Vergílio. After 45 played minutes Sinsin got a freekick which was hit by Mark Clement. Sinsin's Bavo Van Eeckhout played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jos Musseeuw in the 46th minute of play.

Bavo Van Eeckhout didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lamento Boliviano. Dominick Weijnandts kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Bavo Van Eeckhout was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ingvar Vollander. Lamento Boliviano's Delmar Abastas was substituted for Uxio Abello. The corner ended in Zsolt Molnár almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sinsin's Bavo Van Eeckhout did a great save. Bavo Van Eeckhout made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zsolt Molnár in the 63rd minute. Mark Clement hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Lamento Boliviano made a substitution. Christovao Abastas replaced Jos Musseeuw. Lamento Boliviano's Ingvar Vollander took a good shot, in the 66th minute, which hit the crossbar above Bavo Van Eeckhout's head, and flew over the goal. Sinsin's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Lamento Boliviano. Lamento Boliviano were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after Sinsin's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ingvar Vollander took the corner. The crowd rose to their feet as Lamento Boliviano's Zsolt Molnár slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bavo Van Eeckhout. That made the score 1-3 after 73 minutes of play. Sinsin's Bavo Van Eeckhout proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Sinsin from getting a goal against them. Algimantas Tarasevičius came free with the goalkeeper in the 78th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bavo Van Eeckhout could save by the left post. Sinsin's Bavo Van Eeckhout proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Sinsin from getting a goal against them. After having played for 84 minutes, Christovao Abastas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lamento Boliviano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christovao Abastas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match was over Lamento Boliviano could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sinsin throughout the match.
