The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s Iker Boruc sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teofilo Distiratsu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Benito Laurin in the 4th minute. It was a well-played corner which Washington Ortiz managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 12th minute, August Hökkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 13 played minutes ZigZag Athletic got a freekick which was hit by Bengt-Rune Öman. 17 minutes into the match, ZigZag Athletic's goalkeeper Teofilo Distiratsu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iker Boruc. Iker Boruc's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Teofilo Distiratsu firmly grabbed it by the left post. Zhuang Gang Peng lost his temper 20 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 20th minute, one of ZigZag Athletic:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ZigZag Athletic. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iker Boruc in the 27th minute of play forced ZigZag Athletic's goalkeeper Teofilo Distiratsu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teofilo Distiratsu made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Iker Boruc sent off a good shot on target. Teofilo Distiratsu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iker Boruc in the 33rd minute. ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s Luís Gustavo Prestes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gösta Messi in the 37th minute of play. ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after ZigZag Athletic's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Benito Laurin took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Iker Boruc managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In a very dangerous position, a player in ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 44th minute. Penalty! ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™:s Luís Gustavo Prestes showed great skill when he stopped Gösta Messi:s penalty. Luís Gustavo Prestes came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by ZigZag Athletic's Gösta Messi. But to his dismay, Gösta Messi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 51st minute Iker Boruc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilo Distiratsu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. August Hökkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iker Boruc in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teofilo Distiratsu saved ZigZag Athletic from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by August Hökkvist during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 55 played minutes ZigZag Athletic got a freekick which was hit by August Hökkvist. If Iker Boruc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. ZigZag Athletic's Teofilo Distiratsu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iker Boruc in the 58th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s goal looked a bit too open when Gösta Messi came free, but Luís Gustavo Prestes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A throw-in in the 62nd minute of the game was made by Dorian Neves with Iker Boruc as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 64th minute of the match Marek Wyrzykowski shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luís Gustavo Prestes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Teofilo Distiratsu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iker Boruc, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Luís Gustavo Prestes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gösta Messi in the 78th minute of play. Teofilo Distiratsu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iker Boruc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th match minute, ZigZag Athletic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John Cena to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, ZigZag Athletic's John Cena got a free kick in the 85th minute. When ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s Piotr Osikowicz in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ZigZag Athletic's goalie prevented a goal. In the 94th minute Iker Boruc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilo Distiratsu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gösta Messi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
