After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Josep Casanova managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kingpins's supporters rose to their feet, but Josep Casanova was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Murillo Pinho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yan Guo Qiang took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Murillo Pinho. Murillo Pinho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Murillo Pinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yan Guo Qiang in the 14th minute of the match. With his leg Bixente Poli managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when Jovens Democratas MZC's Frank Scarcella fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Kingpins's Yan Guo Qiang got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bixente Poli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Scarcella in the 20th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erasmo de Godoi got free with Bixente Poli in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Jovens Democratas MZC's zone, Yan Guo Qiang stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Murillo Pinho came out of the goal and Yan Guo Qiang tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 25 minutes into the game, Erasmo de Godoi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bixente Poli. Erasmo de Godoi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. A hard shot 28 in the game by Frank Scarcella from a close distance when the talented Bixente Poli managed to make a qualified save. Kingpins's players were relieved. Bixente Poli was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Abel Dracena capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Abel Dracena really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. 35 minutes into the game, Victorino Euloxu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Murillo Pinho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 38 minutes into the match, Kingpins's Yan Guo Qiang sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Murillo Pinho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, Yan Guo Qiang had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Murillo Pinho. Jovens Democratas MZC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yan Guo Qiang was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. 42 minutes into the match, Jovens Democratas MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Josep Casanova came free, but Murillo Pinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Jovens Democratas MZC's zone, Victorino Euloxu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Murillo Pinho came out of the goal and Victorino Euloxu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

52 minutes into the match, Jovens Democratas MZC's Erasmo de Godoi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bixente Poli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jovens Democratas MZC's Murillo Pinho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Jovens Democratas MZC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yan Guo Qiang in the 55th minute of play forced Jovens Democratas MZC's goalkeeper Murillo Pinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jovens Democratas MZC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Yan Guo Qiang scored to the left of an out of position Murillo Pinho, making the score, 2-4. Murillo Pinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yan Guo Qiang in the 61st minute of the match. Bixente Poli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giuseppe Negri, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Jovens Democratas MZC's attack was well implemented in the 65th minute, but when Giuseppe Negri was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Jovens Democratas MZC made a substitution. Jeremias Britto replaced Maicon de Amorim. Jovens Democratas MZC made a substitution. Gilson Barros replaced Didi Cabral. Kingpins's Torbjörn Hake was substituted for Pål Hammarström. After 68 played minutes Kingpins got a freekick which was hit by Ke Cheng Yun. Gilson Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jovens Democratas MZC's Rodriguinho Vander was substituted for Giuseppe Negri. Murillo Pinho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Torbjörn Hake's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Victorino Euloxu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Murillo Pinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jovens Democratas MZC's Murillo Pinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torbjörn Hake in the 82nd minute of play. A collision led to Jovens Democratas MZC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Abel Dracena hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Kingpins's Mao Hai Zhen got a free kick in the 87th minute. Kingpins's Bixente Poli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Scarcella in the 88th minute of play. Bixente Poli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Scarcella in the 91st minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Kingpins's Adrian Falck seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Adrian Falck the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Kingpins protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Adrian Falck had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 93rd match minute, Kingpins was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Falck to maneuver through the defense. Bixente Poli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilson Barros in the 94th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Kingpins had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
