Piotr Osikowicz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Murillo Pinho made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iker Boruc in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Murillo Pinho saved Jovens Democratas MZC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iker Boruc in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Murillo Pinho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luís Gustavo Prestes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giuseppe Negri in the 24th minute of play. In the 24th minute Giuseppe Negri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Gustavo Prestes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Giuseppe Negri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luís Gustavo Prestes. ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Giuseppe Negri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Murillo Pinho came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s Iker Boruc. But to his dismay, Iker Boruc quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Murillo Pinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iker Boruc in the 37th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abel Dracena during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Abel Dracena kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 38th minute of the match, Iker Boruc tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Murillo Pinho saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Murillo Pinho was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Iker Boruc showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 41 minute of play. A collision led to ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Giuliano Basso hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Didi Cabral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jovens Democratas MZC's supporters rose to their feet, but Didi Cabral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Gustavo Prestes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Iker Boruc made the kick off in the second half. Murillo Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iker Boruc in the 52nd minute of play. Jovens Democratas MZC's Murillo Pinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iker Boruc in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s goal looked a bit too open when Frank Scarcella came free, but Luís Gustavo Prestes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jovens Democratas MZC's goalkeeper Murillo Pinho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 58 minutes into the match, Iker Boruc had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Murillo Pinho. Jovens Democratas MZC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iker Boruc was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Murillo Pinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Piotr Osikowicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Iker Boruc came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iker Boruc couldn't finish the play. In the 70th minute of the match, Erasmo de Godoi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Luís Gustavo Prestes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Rodriguinho Vander could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Luís Gustavo Prestes made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodriguinho Vander got free with Luís Gustavo Prestes in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
