Thanks to some nice moves Emilio Baumar could shoot a difficult shot in the 31st minute, which Zhou Zhen Peng however easily saved by the left post. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Hlonda Boyz's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. With a little luck, Hlonda Boyz's Zhou Zhen Peng got control of the ball when Alfons Hurtig tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vladimiro Onofre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Izydor Turacki in the 36th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Hlonda Boyz's zone, Emilio Baumar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zhou Zhen Peng came out of the goal and Emilio Baumar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Boleslaw Wyrostek fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hlonda Boyz's protests and gave Boleslaw Wyrostek a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th minute, Boleslaw Wyrostek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Hlonda Boyz's Zhou Zhen Peng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Baumar in the 51st minute of play. Zhou Zhen Peng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Epifanio Bernabel in the 53rd minute of play. Zhou Zhen Peng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfons Hurtig, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Zhou Zhen Peng stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfons Hurtig's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfons Hurtig in the 91st minute of play forced Hlonda Boyz's goalkeeper Zhou Zhen Peng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
