Stasio Gozdowski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arvid Carlsson went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. A well-hit corner resulted in Tavo Tomat heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After some careless play in the KANONIERZY defense, Arvid Carlsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stasio Gozdowski. The KANONIERZY fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stasio Gozdowski should have stopped the shot. In the 21st minute, Arvid Carlsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Julien Staffelbach could shoot a difficult shot in the 26th minute, which Stasio Gozdowski however easily saved by the left post. After 32 minutes, Tavo Tomat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Linköpings AIK and the KANONIERZY players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ali Hamza Hanefi hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match.

The corner led to Linköpings AIK's Albin Nilsson getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 85th minute, Albin Nilsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Linköpings AIK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. In the 88th minute Ali Hamza Hanefi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimmy Olsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Linköpings AIK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
