To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 15 minutes into the match, Relyn Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitri De Rijck came free, but Gino Velasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Relyn Futebol Clube's Gino Velasco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Relyn Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Relyn Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Ramiro de Lara hit a great ball. With his leg Gino Velasco managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when PS Gurame Bakar's Dimitri De Rijck fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. PS Gurame Bakar were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Relyn Futebol Clube's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Yance Puspito took the corner. A very nice done corner allowed Róbson Carneiro to score against Gino Velasco in Relyn Futebol Clube's goal. 1-0 after 39 minutes. Zebastian Carlsson made in the 44th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Dimitri De Rijck. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gabriel Vinhas was the one to do the kick off. Dimitri De Rijck's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gino Velasco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. The corner led PS Gurame Bakar's Yance Puspito to fire away a dangerous shot which Gino Velasco despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Relyn Futebol Clube made a substitution. Yance Puspito was slow to take the kick. During this time PS Gurame Bakar's players had a chance to rest. PS Gurame Bakar's Yance Puspito was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gino Velasco in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Gino Velasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimitri De Rijck in the 70th minute of the match. Gino Velasco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dimitri De Rijck, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute.
