The Mervaleta FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 6th minute Dario Quexal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriano Federici saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Epifanio Javiero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Adriano Federici made a huge save. Adriano Federici made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dario Quexal in the 9th minute of play. Adriano Federici showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dario Quexal in the 11th minute of the match. In the 14th match minute, Vicenza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Bomba to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute Dario Quexal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriano Federici saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Vicenza's goalkeeper Adriano Federici had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dario Quexal. In the 20th play minute Epifanio Javiero came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Adriano Federici. 2-0. Alvise Ursini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Nesto having to interfere. Emiliano Talone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Adriano Federici made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Tano Sampler sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Vicenza's Adriano Federici got control of the ball when Dario Quexal tried to sneak it across the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Bianco Pan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leo Nesto. Mervaleta FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bianco Pan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 35 minutes into the match, Vicenza's goal looked a bit too open when Justino Erruki came free, but Adriano Federici reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tano Sampler got free with Adriano Federici in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emiliano Talone stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Mervaleta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Talone came free, but Leo Nesto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Vicenza defense, Dario Quexal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adriano Federici. The Vicenza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adriano Federici should have stopped the shot. After 62 minutes of play, Mervaleta FC's Epifanio Javiero made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 67thth minute of the game Epifanio Javiero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vicenza's Adriano Federici was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 70th minute Alvise Ursini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Nesto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adriano Federici took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Quexal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the match, Epifanio Javiero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adriano Federici. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justino Erruki in the 82nd minute of play forced Vicenza's goalkeeper Adriano Federici to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Epifanio Javiero in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adriano Federici saved Vicenza from getting behind. In the 85th minute Justino Erruki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriano Federici saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the game, Mervaleta FC's Jonathan Ortzi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adriano Federici made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-1. After 89 minutes, Bianco Pan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vicenza and the Mervaleta FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Vicenza getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Bianco Pan hit a great ball. Dario Quexal scored 9-1 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adriano Federici, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 94 played minutes Vicenza got a freekick which was hit by Cesare Liberati. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Mervaleta FC had played much better football throughout.
