With an extended leg and a bit of luck Serafin Ugaitz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 24th minute of the match Cartero de Agronomia F.C. got a corner. Cacomixtles de Queretaro's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Evaristo Errando ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s corner Evaristo Errando fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Serafin Ugaitz quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Cartero de Agronomia F.C. booed when Cacomixtles de Queretaro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Sendoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Federico Girotti might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Serafin Ugaitz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Federico Girotti ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Cacomixtles de Queretaro's Serafin Ugaitz got control of the ball when Federico Girotti tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Federico Girotti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Federico Girotti got free with Serafin Ugaitz in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Serafin Ugaitz managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s Federico Girotti fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 38 minutes into the match, Cacomixtles de Queretaro's goalkeeper Serafin Ugaitz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Federico Girotti. Federico Girotti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Serafin Ugaitz made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Armando Basajaun made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Severino Che sent off a good shot on target. Serafin Ugaitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Belasko in the 66th minute of the match. In the 67th minute Federico Girotti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafin Ugaitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Serafin Ugaitz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Federico Girotti's shot from short distance in the 69th minute.
