The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 9 played minutes King Of The Jungle got a freekick which was hit by Resulhan Lemi. King Of The Jungle's Romeo Veremundo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Aires in the 19th minute of play. Jerónimo Bettencourt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alkın Berksan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the match, King Of The Jungle's goalkeeper Romeo Veremundo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leandro Aires. In the 27thth minute of the game Olufemi Ononogbo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but King Of The Jungle's Romeo Veremundo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jerónimo Bettencourt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alkın Berksan in the 29th minute of play. King Of The Jungle made a substitution. Fritz Larsson replaced Ahmet Korkut Yalman. Resulhan Lemi made in the 32nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Tortugas's Ihedioha Batalawa. After 34 minutes, Tukul Pamungkas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tortugas and the King Of The Jungle players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Tortugas getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Tukul Pamungkas hit a great ball. Tukul Pamungkas got his second yellow card in the match during the 35th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Tukul Pamungkas hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 49th minute of the match Tortugas got a corner. King Of The Jungle's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Big Egø ran over to the corner to take the kick. Tortugas's Big Egø was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Romeo Veremundo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Romeo Veremundo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olufemi Ononogbo, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 56th minute, Leandro Aires left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tortugas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Thrinakie Hagias made in the 72nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by King Of The Jungle's Aykut Sakman. Lev Postupalenko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Jerónimo Bettencourt made a huge save. Jerónimo Bettencourt was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lev Postupalenko showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 76 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tortugas's Ihedioha Batalawa got a free kick in the 79th minute. Tortugas's Jerónimo Bettencourt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Tortugas from getting a goal against them. Tortugas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Lev Postupalenko scored to the left of an out of position Jerónimo Bettencourt, making the score, 2-2. Lino Lartaun blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jerónimo Bettencourt having to make a save. Lev Postupalenko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerónimo Bettencourt having to interfere. Lev Postupalenko might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jerónimo Bettencourt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lev Postupalenko ran back to his position shaking his head. 91 minutes into the match, Tortugas's goal looked a bit too open when Lev Postupalenko came free, but Jerónimo Bettencourt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Lev Postupalenko kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jerónimo Bettencourt. That made the score 2-3 in the 95 minute of play.
