An unexpectedly hard shot by Hu Jian Yi in the 3rd minute of play forced Paraná Clube's goalkeeper Darren Chandran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 4 minutes had been played when some careless play by Paraná Clube's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hu Jian Yi was slow to take the kick. During this time Astralis FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Hu Jian Yi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Darren Chandran quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 6th minute Erwin Levet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darren Chandran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Darren Chandran stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erwin Levet's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Tzolo Pisarski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steven Abisheganaden, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Astralis FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zak Hong came free, but Tzolo Pisarski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute of the match, Adam Hsi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tzolo Pisarski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 13th minute, José Carlos Pascuala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tzolo Pisarski made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when José Lima sent off a good shot on target. If Hu Jian Yi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Astralis FC's Hu Jian Yi in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paraná Clube's goalie prevented a goal. In the 27th match minute, Astralis FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregorio Elija to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute Gregorio Elija shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darren Chandran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Astralis FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Hsi came free, but Tzolo Pisarski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute José Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tzolo Pisarski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paraná Clube's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by José Lima in the 36th minute. Darren Chandran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claude Goubert in the 38th minute of the match. José Carlos Pascuala hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. The supporters of Paraná Clube booed when Astralis FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregorio Elija didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tzolo Pisarski made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when José Lima sent off a good shot on target. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when José Lima made the kick off in the second half. Paraná Clube's Darren Chandran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Paraná Clube from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Lima in the 54th minute of play forced Astralis FC's goalkeeper Tzolo Pisarski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Astralis FC's goalkeeper Tzolo Pisarski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Darren Chandran was a little too slow when Gregorio Elija got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 0-1. Tzolo Pisarski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Lima in the 61st minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Paraná Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Claude Goubert came free, but Darren Chandran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Hsi in the 67th minute of play forced Astralis FC's goalkeeper Tzolo Pisarski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Darren Chandran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonel Zammit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuri Manolev in the 72nd minute of play forced Astralis FC's goalkeeper Tzolo Pisarski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 79 played minutes Astralis FC got a freekick which was hit by José Carlos Pascuala. Erwin Levet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Darren Chandran didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gregorio Elija went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Steven Abisheganaden hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After 90 minutes of play, Paraná Clube's Zak Hong made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tzolo Pisarski was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The Astralis FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Astralis FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
