Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Duarte de Castro took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guilherme Souza in the 4th minute of play forced A.D Garotos do Vale's goalkeeper Franklin Montenegro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 4 minutes into the game, Andrzej Derlanga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A.D Garotos do Vale's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave U21 Brazil the free kick. The long shot by Thiago Motta in the 5th minute really tested Franklin Montenegro's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guilherme Souza in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franklin Montenegro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 7 minutes into the match, A.D Garotos do Vale's goalkeeper Franklin Montenegro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guilherme Souza. 9 minutes into the match, A.D Garotos do Vale's goal looked a bit too open when Guilherme Souza came free, but Franklin Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 11 minutes into the game, Antônio Alcântara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 24th minute, Guilherme Souza reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Franklin Montenegro. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 27th minute Guilherme Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franklin Montenegro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in A.D Garotos do Vale's zone, Duarte de Castro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Franklin Montenegro came out of the goal and Duarte de Castro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 31 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for A.D Garotos do Vale! Elói Alcântara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Franklin Montenegro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Elói Alcântara took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Franklin Montenegro. Franklin Montenegro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Gigio Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 李剑响, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Elói Alcântara managed to get in a good position for a shot. U21 Brazil's supporters rose to their feet, but Elói Alcântara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Franklin Montenegro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind A.D Garotos do Vale's goalkeeper Franklin Montenegro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Elói Alcântara succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 45th playminute. In the 47th minute, Duarte de Castro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

52 minutes into the game, U21 Brazil's Elói Alcântara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Franklin Montenegro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. After some careless play in the A.D Garotos do Vale defense, Elói Alcântara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Franklin Montenegro. The A.D Garotos do Vale fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Franklin Montenegro should have stopped the shot. Clemente Machado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Gigio Buffon made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Elói Alcântara managed to get in a good position for a shot. U21 Brazil's supporters rose to their feet, but Elói Alcântara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Franklin Montenegro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. U21 Brazil's Cláudio Favoretto was substituted for Zé Bala. Franklin Montenegro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elói Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 78th minute, Elói Alcântara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Franklin Montenegro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elói Alcântara went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. 83 minutes into the match, U21 Brazil's Elói Alcântara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Franklin Montenegro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zé Alvarenga hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elói Alcântara in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Franklin Montenegro saved A.D Garotos do Vale from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elói Alcântara in the 89th managed to get into a good position. Franklin Montenegro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for U21 Brazil. 93 minutes into the game, U21 Brazil's Elói Alcântara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Franklin Montenegro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. Jano Moreira kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. U21 Brazil's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
