The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ivan Kurina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryley Willson in the 3rd minute of the match. 8 minutes into the game, Bearnard Callaghan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ivan Kurina was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ivan Kurina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bearnard Callaghan in the 10th minute of play. Ryley Willson made a great header on Drummanreagh AFC's corner, it was just that Kysučan FK's Ivan Kurina managed to reach the ball for a save. 16 minutes into the match, Kysučan FK's Martin Šrobár sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Branagain McLian narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Ryley Willson came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Drummanreagh AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ryley Willson couldn't finish the play. Ivan Kurina didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ryley Willson went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After 25 played minutes, Drummanreagh AFC's Brenna Hamilton shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ivan Kurina came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Drummanreagh AFC reached it. Kysučan FK's Ivan Kurina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryleigh McBrand in the 26th minute of play. In the 31st minute Bearnard Callaghan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Kurina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Kysučan FK booed when Drummanreagh AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donavon Gough didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute Jozef Hauser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Branagain McLian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Drummanreagh AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jozef Hauser came free, but Branagain McLian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Drummanreagh AFC's Ryley Willson got a free kick in the 37th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ryley Willson in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivan Kurina saved Kysučan FK from getting behind. Kysučan FK's Ivan Kurina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryleigh McBrand in the 40th minute of play. Ivan Kurina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bearnard Callaghan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivan Kurina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryleigh McBrand in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Ryley Willson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivan Kurina was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. 47 minutes into the match, Ryleigh McBrand notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Kysučan FK's Ivan Kurina. Ivan Kurina was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The referee ignored Kysučan FK's protests and gave Richard Masopust a yellow card for diving instead. In the 66th minute, Richard Masopust hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vladimír Bella hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. A collision led to Drummanreagh AFC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Breffni McStephen hit a great ball. After 69 played minutes, Kysučan FK's Vladimír Bella shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Branagain McLian came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. With 74 minutes on the clock, Lukáč Kern commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 74 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kysučan FK! Bearnard Callaghan took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivan Kurina. Ivan Kurina dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-8. In the 83rd minute, Ryley Willson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivan Kurina was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-9. In the 87th minute of the game, Tomáš Kundrát landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. In the 88th minute, Donavon Gough hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivan Kurina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ryley Willson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the game, Karol Dobák was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kysučan FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Drummanreagh AFC the free kick. In the 91st minute, one of Kysučan FK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Kysučan FK. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Bearnard Callaghan took a quick shot and it went in 1-10 without a chance for Ivan Kurina to make any attempt to save it. Ladislav Harmanec charged in rather forcefully in the 98th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ladislav Harmanec the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Drummanreagh AFC booed when Kysučan FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 99 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ladislav Harmanec didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle went the supporters of Drummanreagh AFC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Kysučan FK side.
