Egil Örtendal's late challenge caught a Kysučan FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Egil Örtendal helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Framtidens BK's Egil Örtendal got a free kick in the 7th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Jozef Hauser managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kysučan FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Jozef Hauser was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl-Erik Harman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Kysučan FK booed when Framtidens BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sture Spetz didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was beautiful to see Kysučan FK's Róbert Cupa in action when he in the 23rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Jozef Hauser hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Kysučan FK's Ivan Kurina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egil Örtendal in the 28th minute of play. Sture Spetz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ivan Kurina. Kysučan FK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Framtidens BK booed when Kysučan FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimír Bella didn't get a good kick on the ball. Håkan Termander hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Ivan Kurina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Kielstedt in the 36th minute of play. Jozef Hauser sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The throw-in from Victor Hökkvist in the 47th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Kysučan FK's Vladimír Bella. Karl-Erik Harman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martin Šrobár's shot from short distance in the 48th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Egil Örtendal made a kick off. Jozef Hauser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Erik Harman having to interfere. Martin Šrobár recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jozef Hauser sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute Martin Šrobár shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Erik Harman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jozef Hauser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Karl-Erik Harman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Framtidens BK's Sture Spetz got a free kick in the 70th minute. If Jozef Hauser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl-Erik Harman was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Vladimír Bella capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vladimír Bella really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Karl-Erik Harman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jozef Hauser in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Martin Šrobár got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vladimír Bella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Karl-Erik Harman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute Jozef Hauser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Erik Harman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kysučan FK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
