Varlungo AFC's Arrigo Matteucci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano Rodrigues in the 17th minute of play. Cleto Matai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elia Giorgi in the 19th minute of the match. Perreptors Revolution's Tony Arce got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ruy de Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arrigo Matteucci having to interfere. Cleto Matai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elia Giorgi in the 29th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Selvaggi in the 30th minute of play forced Perreptors Revolution's goalkeeper Cleto Matai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudio Prato hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Ruy de Sousa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Arrigo Matteucci made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessandro Mattei in the 35th minute of play forced Perreptors Revolution's goalkeeper Cleto Matai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dino Rocha made a kick off. Christian Selvaggi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Perreptors Revolution's Cleto Matai proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Perreptors Revolution from getting a goal against them. In the 53rd minute Varlungo AFC were awarded a corner. Arturo Gregori went to the cornerflag to take it. Emiliano Martini kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Perreptors Revolution's Tony Arce pulled a muscle in his back after 57 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 57 minutes, Elia Giorgi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Varlungo AFC and the Perreptors Revolution players grew even worse after the yellow card. Perreptors Revolution's Clemente Cabral was substituted for Tony Arce. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Selvaggi couldn't finish the play. Ricardinho Paulista replaced Ruy de Sousa. 93 minutes into the game, one of Perreptors Revolution:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Cleto Matai, was totally fooled by Varlungo AFC's Arturo Gregori, who 97 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Perreptors Revolution had played much better football throughout.
