FC Turany's Antón Frešo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Metzger in the 55th minute of play. Róbert Korn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Niclas Bernecker made a huge save. 68 minutes into the match, FC Turany's goal looked a bit too open when Eric Metzger came free, but Antón Frešo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 74th minute of the game. One of Neusiedl am See:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Turany:s goal. The referee gave FC Turany a penalty, 78 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tomáš Hejnus, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Neusiedl am See's Niclas Bernecker. 1-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Martin Korach managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Turany's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Korach was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niclas Bernecker breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 85 minutes into the match, Eric Metzger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Antón Frešo. FC Turany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eric Metzger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. The Neusiedl am See fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Turany were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
