Alessandro Mattei succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 11th playminute. A collision led to Varlungo AFC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Christian Selvaggi hit a great ball. Simon Kielstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arrigo Matteucci having to interfere. Arrigo Matteucci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egil Örtendal in the 16th minute of play. The supporters of Framtidens BK booed when Varlungo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carter Luciani didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute of the match Alexander Kolberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arrigo Matteucci skillfully saved the ball. After 26 played minutes, Framtidens BK's Sture Spetz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arrigo Matteucci came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Framtidens BK reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Christian Selvaggi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Varlungo AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Selvaggi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl-Erik Harman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Karl-Erik Harman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Selvaggi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th match minute, Framtidens BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edvin Beckeman to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Varlungo AFC's Arturo Gregori tried to score from far away in the 41st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Framtidens BK's Karl-Erik Harman got control of the ball when Alessandro Mattei tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Egil Örtendal made a kick off. Egil Örtendal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Framtidens BK's Håkan Termander was substituted for Egil Örtendal. Emiliano Martini hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After having played for 57 minutes, Edvin Beckeman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Framtidens BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edvin Beckeman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Alessandro Mattei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 74 played minutes Framtidens BK got a freekick which was hit by Victor Hökkvist. After a defensive mix-up in Framtidens BK's zone, Elia Giorgi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Erik Harman came out of the goal and Elia Giorgi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 81st match minute, Framtidens BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sture Spetz to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute, Christian Selvaggi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Varlungo AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Framtidens BK's Karl-Erik Harman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Selvaggi in the 87th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Varlungo AFC's Christian Selvaggi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Karl-Erik Harman narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
