The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Teobald Bakes's late challenge caught a Club Sportiv Scolar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teobald Bakes helped the player get up and apologised. After 5 played minutes Kobylica SA got a freekick which was hit by Teobald Bakes. Costică Iorgovans short, quick shot in the 6thth minute got Wladyslaw Kajdasz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 7th minute Ulryk Jandryca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doru Vădan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dobromir Gongolewicz in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Doru Vădan saved Club Sportiv Scolar from getting behind. Doru Vădan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulryk Jandryca in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes into the game, Avram Balc was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Sportiv Scolar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kobylica SA the free kick. Avram Balc hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Kobylica SA's Wladyslaw Kajdasz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petru Grindeanu in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Ulryk Jandryca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Costică Iorgovan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Wladyslaw Kajdasz came out and tried to block the shot, but Costică Iorgovan slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 20th minute. Damian Balaban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Doru Vădan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ulryk Jandryca went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 31st minute Wincent Fleischer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doru Vădan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Doru Vădan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wincent Fleischer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Wincent Fleischer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 39 minutes of play, Kobylica SA's Dobromir Gongolewicz made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Doru Vădan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wincent Fleischer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Doru Vădan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Dobromir Gongolewicz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kobylica SA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Club Sportiv Scolar's Doru Vădan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Club Sportiv Scolar from getting a goal against them. In the 61st minute, Teobald Bakes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Avram Balc was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 63 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Club Sportiv Scolar's Avram Balc got a free kick in the 64th minute. Wincent Fleischer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Doru Vădan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dobromir Gongolewicz struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Doru Vădan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kobylica SA. Doru Vădan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dobromir Gongolewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After having played for 75 minutes, Zachariasz Marchlewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kobylica SA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zachariasz Marchlewicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Doru Vădan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dobromir Gongolewicz's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. If Zachariasz Marchlewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A sloppy throw-in by Cezar Isăceanu in the 79th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Kobylica SA's Ulryk Jandryca. Dobromir Gongolewicz scored 1-4 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Doru Vădan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Doru Vădan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ulryk Jandryca in the 83rd minute. Dobromir Gongolewicz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Doru Vădan made a huge save. A collision led to Kobylica SA getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Lech Chuchro hit a great ball. Dobromir Gongolewicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doru Vădan having to interfere. After 92 played minutes Kobylica SA got a freekick which was hit by Ulryk Jandryca. If Ulryk Jandryca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kobylica SA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
