SAPI FC's Abuy Mustaqim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joni Goeslaw in the 6th minute of play. Abuy Mustaqim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agam Permana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aban Tanonaka came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by SAPI FC's Anak Gaul. But to his dismay, Anak Gaul quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Sentinel booed when SAPI FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hotman Paris didn't get a good kick on the ball. Randy Wijoyo hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Sentinel were furious when Syauqi Kunaefi was red carded, 30 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 30 minutes into the game, one of Sentinel:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave SAPI FC a penalty, 32 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jahfal Saroge, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sentinel's Aban Tanonaka. 0-2. In the 41st match minute, SAPI FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hotman Paris to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the match, SAPI FC's goal looked a bit too open when Brama Harmoko came free, but Abuy Mustaqim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ignatius Revaldy made a kick off. Brama Harmoko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abuy Mustaqim having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, SAPI FC's goal looked a bit too open when Harun Heryuwono came free, but Abuy Mustaqim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Sentinel booed when SAPI FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ikhsan Bawono didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abuy Mustaqim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brama Harmoko in the 68th minute of the match. Benyamin Asmawan's late challenge caught a SAPI FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benyamin Asmawan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 69th minute, Benyamin Asmawan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes into the match, Sentinel's goalkeeper Aban Tanonaka had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jahfal Saroge. 71 minutes into the game, Harun Heryuwono was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sentinel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SAPI FC the free kick. After 71 played minutes Sentinel got a freekick which was hit by Harun Heryuwono. Anak Gaul succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 78th playminute. SAPI FC's Abuy Mustaqim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignatius Revaldy in the 84th minute of play. If Anak Gaul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 95 played minutes Sentinel got a freekick which was hit by Agam Permana.

The SAPI FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
