FC Eisenberg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Курск ФК the free kick. 11 minutes into the game, one of FC Eisenberg:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Andrey Denisov shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 18th minute, Andrey Denisov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bastian Abel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Udo Giehl in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frutos Mallo saved Курск ФК from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Udo Giehl put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Frutos Mallo. The corner ended in Leonid Bubnov almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Eisenberg's Bastian Abel did a great save. In the 28th minute, Andrey Denisov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bastian Abel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Frutos Mallo made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Mario Neumann sent off a good shot on target. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Udo Giehl was the one to do the kick off. Udo Giehl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 53 minutes into the match, Курск ФК's Andrey Denisov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bastian Abel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Boris Basalaev replaced Andrey Denisov. The supporters of Курск ФК booed when FC Eisenberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position.
