Marian Domeradzki made a great header on Veth Crystals's corner, it was just that ATILA's Placido Matro managed to reach the ball for a save. 14 minutes into the match, ATILA's goal looked a bit too open when Gwidon Patora came free, but Placido Matro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Veth Crystals's goal looked a bit too open when Sten Vallman came free, but Tiburcio Jakue reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Veth Crystals booed when ATILA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Álvaro Prata didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, ATILA's Santo Aragones got a free kick in the 21st minute. Zbigniew Wierzbicki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Placido Matro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gwidon Patora in the 24th minute of the match. When Veth Crystals's Zbigniew Wierzbicki in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Veth Crystals's Tiburcio Jakue played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sten Vallman in the 31st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Zbigniew Wierzbicki kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Placido Matro. That made the score 1-0 in the 38 minute of play. Gwidon Patora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Placido Matro having to interfere. After 42 played minutes Veth Crystals got a freekick which was hit by Karl Hultstrand. ATILA's Sten Vallman got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the ATILA defense, Liu Zhi Guang kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Placido Matro. The ATILA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Placido Matro should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sten Vallman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liu Zhi Guang in the 57th minute of play forced ATILA's goalkeeper Placido Matro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gwidon Patora in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Placido Matro saved ATILA from getting behind. With a little luck, Veth Crystals's Tiburcio Jakue got control of the ball when Genadi Kotrulev tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gwidon Patora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Placido Matro having to interfere. Veth Crystals made a substitution. Florian Ciempa replaced Zbigniew Wierzbicki. Veth Crystals made a substitution. Ludomir Radzyminski replaced Nedas Jameikis. 67 minutes into the match, Veth Crystals's goal looked a bit too open when Sten Vallman came free, but Tiburcio Jakue reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ATILA's Placido Matro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Loramendi in the 71st minute of play. Placido Matro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raul Loramendi, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by ATILA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gwidon Patora was slow to take the kick. During this time Veth Crystals's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Raul Loramendi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Placido Matro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 85th match minute, Veth Crystals was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gwidon Patora to maneuver through the defense. Gabriel Vaz kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 88th match minute, Veth Crystals was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Vaz to maneuver through the defense. Álvaro Prata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiburcio Jakue having to interfere. If Florian Ciempa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Nereo Monico kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tiburcio Jakue. That made the score 2-1 in the 95 minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Veth Crystals fans cheered their team off the field, for while ATILA had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
