FC Barrera 2.0's CJ Buffon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save FC Barrera 2.0 from getting a goal against them. Berislav Pais made in the 16th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Barrera 2.0's Lachezar Kavaldzhiev. After a defensive mix-up in FC Aquile Azzurre's zone, Cacey Sharp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sabin Pânzaru came out of the goal and Cacey Sharp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. CJ Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Äliqulu Vermäliyev in the 20th minute of play. CJ Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlo Borgatello in the 22nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlo Borgatello got free with CJ Buffon in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Carlo Borgatello took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for CJ Buffon to make any attempt to save it. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlo Borgatello stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, FC Barrera 2.0's goal looked a bit too open when Äliqulu Vermäliyev came free, but CJ Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The FC Aquile Azzurre fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when FC Aquile Azzurre's Carlo Borgatello looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. FC Barrera 2.0's Dadá Maravilha was substituted for Cacey Sharp. FC Aquile Azzurre's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Äliqulu Vermäliyev in the 66th minute. FC Aquile Azzurre's João Francisco Correia was substituted for Wu Fei. 73 minutes into the match, FC Aquile Azzurre's Filippo Massa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that CJ Buffon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, FC Aquile Azzurre's Sabin Pânzaru got control of the ball when Marco Mendes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dadá Maravilha received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sabin Pânzaru came out and tried to block the shot, but Dadá Maravilha slotted it home off the left post making it 4-2 in the 85th minute. Filippo Massa spun around in front of the goal 89 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of FC Barrera 2.0's goal. If Marco Mendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. CJ Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filippo Massa in the 95th minute of the match. FC Barrera 2.0's CJ Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filippo Massa in the 96th minute of play. FC Aquile Azzurre's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
