With a left leg Ismael Furman saved Equipo from getting behind. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Equipo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Severino Estevez was slow to take the kick. During this time Les Tigres's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of Les Tigres booed when Equipo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. 俞辉正 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ismael Furman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Venancio Prejun's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Gonzo Maradona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Cristi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute Ronaldo Cristi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonzo Maradona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronaldo Cristi in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gonzo Maradona prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Darío Benedetto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Gonzo Maradona when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Darío Benedetto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Gonzo Maradona made a huge save. In the 41st minute Equipo were awarded a corner. Raul Vigil went to the cornerflag to take it. Raul Vigil made a great header on Equipo's corner, it was just that Les Tigres's Gonzo Maradona managed to reach the ball for a save. Raul Vigil got in the 41st minute a good position and tried a long shot which to a great surprise passed a very astonished Gonzo Maradona. This was a shot which ended in a score of 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Les Tigres's Enzo Vezin was substituted for Rodolfo Luken. With a little luck, Equipo's Ismael Furman got control of the ball when Edvard Võsandi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Equipo's Harun Elçin was substituted for Darío Benedetto. Equipo's Ismael Furman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ömer-Asaf Güneş in the 68th minute of play. Ömer-Asaf Güneş recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Les Tigres's Gonzo Maradona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pietro Salles in the 75th minute of play. A collision led to Equipo getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Raul Vigil hit a great ball. Ismael Furman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edvard Võsandi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the game, Grzegorz Sokolski threw the ball into play from the sideline. Equipo's Raul Vigil quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 83 minutes into the match, Les Tigres's goal looked a bit too open when Pietro Salles came free, but Gonzo Maradona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Equipo's Pietro Salles in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Les Tigres's goalie prevented a goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Equipo fans cheered their team off the field, for while Les Tigres had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
