The LiBeRiA F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when LiBeRiA F.C.'s Mei Zhi Jian looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Serafin Ugaitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mei Zhi Jian in the 8th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cacomixtles de Queretaro's zone, Emilijano Kitanovski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serafin Ugaitz came out of the goal and Emilijano Kitanovski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mei Zhi Jian in the 15th minute of play forced Cacomixtles de Queretaro's goalkeeper Serafin Ugaitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mei Zhi Jian scored 0-2 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Serafin Ugaitz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Serafin Ugaitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mei Zhi Jian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Cacomixtles de Queretaro defense, Mei Zhi Jian kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Serafin Ugaitz. The Cacomixtles de Queretaro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Serafin Ugaitz should have stopped the shot. 39 minutes into the match, Cacomixtles de Queretaro's goal looked a bit too open when Victorio Oliverio came free, but Serafin Ugaitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Perrando Martínez Lamas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Che, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Cacomixtles de Queretaro getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Dagnýr Franklínsson hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mei Zhi Jian in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Serafin Ugaitz saved Cacomixtles de Queretaro from getting behind. The Cacomixtles de Queretaro players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. LiBeRiA F.C. were winning 0-3.

Cacomixtles de Queretaro's Gustav Sefastsson was substituted for Constantino Henrico. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gustav Sefastsson was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustav Sefastsson in the 53rd minute of play forced LiBeRiA F.C.'s goalkeeper Perrando Martínez Lamas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mei Zhi Jian who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Serafin Ugaitz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mei Zhi Jian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Serafin Ugaitz made a huge save. When Mei Zhi Jian came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the LiBeRiA F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mei Zhi Jian couldn't finish the play. Serafin Ugaitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mei Zhi Jian, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After 71 played minutes LiBeRiA F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Bon Jović. Cacomixtles de Queretaro made a substitution. Atilano Chorache replaced Lech Harbaszewski. A collision led to LiBeRiA F.C. getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Bon Jović hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, LiBeRiA F.C.'s Alonzo Bihar got a free kick in the 75th minute. Aaron Sendoa kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. LiBeRiA F.C. were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Cacomixtles de Queretaro's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mei Zhi Jian took the corner. Mei Zhi Jian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafin Ugaitz having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mei Zhi Jian in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Serafin Ugaitz saved Cacomixtles de Queretaro from getting behind. In the 90th minute, Victorio Oliverio fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Serafin Ugaitz, passed just outside the right post. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Mei Zhi Jian put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Serafin Ugaitz. The audience was convinced that Mei Zhi Jian's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Serafin Ugaitz was relentless in the 96th minute of the game.
