Guilherme Catarinense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roque Miliano, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. If Mané Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Peter-Michael Schmeichel made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Mané Lara sent off a good shot on target. 17 minutes into the match, Joinville United - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Norbert Jaktorowo came free, but Guilherme Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guilherme Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Caniglia in the 20th minute of play. The supporters of Janusze Futbolu booed when Joinville United - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Osmond didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute, Guilherme Joinvilense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Janusze Futbolu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Rogerio Oblak got a throw-in 40 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Roque Miliano. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

After 52 played minutes Janusze Futbolu got a freekick which was hit by Çağdaş Quaresma. Mané Lara hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After having played for 57 minutes, Rogerio Oblak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Janusze Futbolu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rogerio Oblak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joinville United - FSCMZ's Jacek Krzynowek was substituted for Alesandro Coutinho. Joinville United - FSCMZ's Maurício Donatello was substituted for Mané Lara. In the 61st match minute, Janusze Futbolu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogerio Oblak to maneuver through the defense. Janusze Futbolu's Peter-Michael Schmeichel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacek Krzynowek in the 62nd minute of play. Roque Miliano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Guilherme Catarinense came out and tried to block the shot, but Roque Miliano slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 67th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Norbert Jaktorowo could shoot a difficult shot in the 71st minute, which Guilherme Catarinense however easily saved by the left post. 73 minutes into the match, Joinville United - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Guilherme Catarinense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Norbert Jaktorowo. Peter-Michael Schmeichel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurício Donatello, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Peter-Michael Schmeichel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurício Donatello in the 76th minute of the match. Peter-Michael Schmeichel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
