Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zé Dos Reis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Silver Raudsepp made in the 90th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Bernard Wielgopolski immediately put the ball in play. Edmund Dulemba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferenc Puskás in the 94th minute of play. In the 95th minute Ferenc Puskás shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmund Dulemba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
