In the 9th minute Glintung FC were awarded a corner. Giles Janda went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Glintung FC's Giles Janda to fire away a dangerous shot which Yuri da Cunha despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Glintung FC's Bandit Cinta in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Lev Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel de Godoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute, Magno Sampaio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Glintung FC's Amran Karisma was substituted for Bandit Cinta. Olivedos's Kaká Passos was substituted for Ricardinho Vianna. Olivedos's Yuri da Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amran Karisma in the 92nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Abel de Godoi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lev Buffon was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Glintung FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
