A collision led to SRP-Laguna getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Rafael Furtado hit a great ball. Fotis Katramados might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anderson Laguna. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fotis Katramados ran back to his position shaking his head. Fotis Katramados could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Anderson Laguna made a huge save. Franciszek Lerych showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barbaros Seçkin, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After a defensive mix-up in SRP-Laguna's zone, Fotis Katramados stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anderson Laguna came out of the goal and Fotis Katramados tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 19th minute, Fotis Katramados reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Anderson Laguna. The goal made the score 1-0. FC Dwa Do Ósmej's Feliks Gniech managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by He Bing Jie in the 23 minute of the game. Fotis Katramados who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Anderson Laguna when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Dwa Do Ósmej's goalkeeper Franciszek Lerych, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Franciszek Lerych didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Xu Le Shu went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 42nd minute, Tansel Tuz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 43 played minutes, FC Dwa Do Ósmej's Nestor Giro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Anderson Laguna came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Dwa Do Ósmej reached it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fotis Katramados got free with Anderson Laguna in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fotis Katramados to make the kick off. Anderson Laguna stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fotis Katramados's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Anderson Laguna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fotis Katramados, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Dwa Do Ósmej's supporters rose to their feet, but Fotis Katramados was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anderson Laguna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. SRP-Laguna's He Bing Jie quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Karl-Ove Hägert, made in the 64th minute of the game. Barbaros Seçkin struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Franciszek Lerych didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SRP-Laguna. FC Dwa Do Ósmej's Bartlomiej Matela was substituted for Teofil Fudalej. FC Dwa Do Ósmej made a substitution. Lucas Rodriguez replaced Radomir Anszczak. SRP-Laguna's Frasier Crane was substituted for Xu Le Shu. SRP-Laguna made a substitution. Isaltino Veloso replaced Vânderson Penha. Anderson Laguna was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 93rd minute Feliks Gniech shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anderson Laguna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
