Daron Joseph sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8th minute, Lucas Navarro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ForestFire fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diogo Queirós in the 12th minute of play forced ForestFire's goalkeeper Shaki Conn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ForestFire's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ben Gilliam in the 15th minute. ForestFire's Ben Gilliam was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rhys Dimmock in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 20 minutes into the game, Zamalek FC's Diogo Queirós nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Shaki Conn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Lucas Navarro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rhys Dimmock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Navarro in the 28th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Navarro in the 31st minute of play forced Zamalek FC's goalkeeper Rhys Dimmock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, ForestFire's Shaki Conn got control of the ball when Raymond Quintero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Shaki Conn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diogo Queirós in the 35th minute. Raymond Quintero might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Shaki Conn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raymond Quintero ran back to his position shaking his head. 37 minutes into the match, ForestFire's goal looked a bit too open when Diogo Queirós came free, but Shaki Conn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rhys Dimmock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Navarro in the 40th minute of the match. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind ForestFire's goalkeeper Shaki Conn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diogo Queirós was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, ForestFire's goal looked a bit too open when Diogo Queirós came free, but Shaki Conn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Zamalek FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Navarro came free, but Rhys Dimmock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucas Navarro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 58 minutes into the match, ForestFire's Lucas Navarro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rhys Dimmock narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 59th play minutes Lucas Navarro shot 1-3, a short shot which went by Rhys Dimmock and just under the crossbar into goal. Through an outstanding action, after 64 minutes, Rhys Dimmock successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 66 minutes Zamalek FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ben Gilliam who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Ben Gilliam almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Zamalek FC's Rhys Dimmock did a great save. ForestFire's Lucas Navarro was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 74th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When Zamalek FC's Fred Kirkpatrick in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ForestFire's goalie prevented a goal. ForestFire's Shaki Conn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Kirkpatrick in the 83rd minute of play. Zamalek FC made a substitution. Mugurel Balaeț replaced Reese Otto. Rhys Dimmock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Navarro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute, Ben Gilliam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 94 minutes, Lucas Navarro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ForestFire and the Zamalek FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, ForestFire's Lucas Navarro got a free kick in the 94th minute.
