After some careless play in the Zamalek FC defense, Deng Song Kuan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rhys Dimmock. The Zamalek FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rhys Dimmock should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 武挺西 in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel Covington saved Las Lomas Las from getting behind. Miguel Covington stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Reese Otto's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reese Otto in the 13th minute of play forced Las Lomas Las's goalkeeper Miguel Covington to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Reese Otto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Miguel Covington was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 17 minutes into the game, Chunche Montero recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Miguel Covington. Chunche Montero showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Reese Otto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Covington having to interfere. Zamalek FC's Rhys Dimmock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Lapač in the 24th minute of play. With his leg Miguel Covington managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Zamalek FC's 武挺西 fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Miguel Covington successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience was convinced that Reese Otto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miguel Covington was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. 武挺西 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Miguel Covington tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Zamalek FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Harrison came free, but Rhys Dimmock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zamalek FC's Rhys Dimmock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deng Song Kuan in the 35th minute of play. Zamalek FC's 武挺西 was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 36th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The supporters of Zamalek FC booed when Las Lomas Las was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duane Nunez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miguel Covington made an important save on a dangerous shot by 武挺西 in the 46th minute. In the 47th minute of the match Zamalek FC got a corner. Las Lomas Las's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Chunche Montero ran over to the corner to take the kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 武挺西 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Las Lomas Las got a freekick which was hit by Peter Lapač. Miguel Covington took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reese Otto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Zamalek FC's Reese Otto in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Las Lomas Las's goalie prevented a goal. Rhys Dimmock made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Hugo Harrison sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Reese Otto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zamalek FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Reese Otto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Covington breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Reese Otto took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miguel Covington. Miguel Covington dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. After having played for 61 minutes, 武挺西 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zamalek FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but 武挺西 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Zamalek FC's 武挺西 in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Las Lomas Las's goalie prevented a goal. If Deng Song Kuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Las Lomas Las's zone, 武挺西 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Covington came out of the goal and 武挺西 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zamalek FC made a substitution. Fred Kirkpatrick replaced Chunche Montero. Rhys Dimmock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Harrison, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 77 played minutes Las Lomas Las got a freekick which was hit by Duane Nunez. In the 78th minute, Duane Nunez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miguel Covington made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 武挺西 in the 81st minute of play. After 82 minutes, Fred Kirkpatrick mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zamalek FC and the Las Lomas Las players grew even worse after the yellow card. Reese Otto scored 7-1 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Miguel Covington, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Miguel Covington made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reese Otto in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute of the match Zamalek FC got a corner. Las Lomas Las's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Davis Duff ran over to the corner to take the kick. When the referee ended the match the Zamalek FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
