Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Vidar Alegren's late challenge caught a Key West FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vidar Alegren helped the player get up and apologised. If Saul Owens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maarten Vissenaeken charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maarten Vissenaeken the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 7 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Key West FC! Saul Owens shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saul Owens in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roger Magalhães prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vidar Alegren who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Roger Magalhães when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Strong Survive's Marwan Nijad managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bradly Owen in the 19 minute of the game. Mürsel Lefter's late challenge caught a Key West FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mürsel Lefter helped the player get up and apologised. Mürsel Lefter kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Saul Owens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Magalhães having to interfere. After taking down the ball on Strong Survive's corner Monroe Cervantes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Roger Magalhães quite easily take care of the ball. When Mürsel Lefter was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 36 minutes had been played. The supporters of Key West FC booed when Strong Survive was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mürsel Lefter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saul Owens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Magalhães having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Strong Survive's goal looked a bit too open when Blaine Rudd came free, but Tolga Tümkurt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Strong Survive's Vidar Alegren slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Roger Magalhães. That made the score 1-0 after 45 minutes of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Saul Owens was the one to do the kick off. Vidar Alegren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Magalhães having to interfere. After 52 played minutes Strong Survive got a freekick which was hit by Brad Owen. When Key West FC's Calvin Yarbrough in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Strong Survive's goalie prevented a goal. Tolga Tümkurt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Calvin Yarbrough's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Tolga Tümkurt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blaine Rudd in the 55th minute of the match. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by Key West FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Saul Owens was slow to take the kick. During this time Strong Survive's players had a chance to rest. Roger Magalhães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saul Owens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute Saul Owens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vidar Alegren scored 2-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roger Magalhães, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Strong Survive made a substitution. Damien Arias replaced Monroe Cervantes. Roger Magalhães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Owens in the 73rd minute of play. In the 76th match minute, Key West FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calvin Yarbrough to maneuver through the defense. Key West FC's Roger Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vidar Alegren in the 77th minute of play. When Saul Owens came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Strong Survive fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saul Owens couldn't finish the play. Vidar Alegren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tolga Tümkurt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus MacKenzie, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 84 minutes into the game, Marcus MacKenzie cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Tolga Tümkurt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 89 played minutes, Strong Survive's Marwan Nijad shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Roger Magalhães came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Strong Survive reached it. Key West FC's Roger Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Owens in the 90th minute of play. Tolga Tümkurt made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Calvin Yarbrough sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 92 minutes, Jasper Landrum managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Key West FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jasper Landrum was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcus MacKenzie during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Key West FC's Marcus MacKenzie got a free kick in the 94th minute. Key West FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
