Arnoldo Short could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Tolga Tümkurt made a huge save. 9 minutes into the match, Strong Survive's Vidar Alegren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Trevor Michaud narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arnoldo Short fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tolga Tümkurt having to interfere. After 16 minutes of play, Strong Survive's Vidar Alegren made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Trevor Michaud was left in no man's land by his defense there! Saul Owens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Strong Survive's Saul Owens in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 35th minute, Vidar Alegren made a precise shot to the right of Trevor Michaud. American Top Team's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Saul Owens took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Trevor Michaud. Trevor Michaud dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After 44th play minutes Saul Owens shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Trevor Michaud and just under the crossbar into goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Saul Owens to strike the kick off in the second half. Trevor Michaud showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saul Owens in the 51st minute of the match. Vidar Alegren kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Bo-Erik Jönsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, American Top Team's Arnoldo Short got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute, DeAndre Goff hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saul Owens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trevor Michaud having to interfere. Saul Owens scored 0-6 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Trevor Michaud, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clay Quintana in the 67th minute of play forced Strong Survive's goalkeeper Tolga Tümkurt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Strong Survive's Wilfred Conn was substituted for Mürsel Lefter. Trevor Michaud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Owens in the 80th minute of play. After a rather tough play, American Top Team's Arnoldo Short got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 81st minute of the match Zack Stout shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Trevor Michaud showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Marwan Nijad's late challenge caught a American Top Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marwan Nijad helped the player get up and apologised. In the 84th minute, Marwan Nijad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Saul Owens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Arnoldo Short's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tolga Tümkurt was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Strong Survive eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
