In the 17th minute, Tytus Banaszak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claudinei Montenegro was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. With a little luck, Key West FC's Claudinei Montenegro got control of the ball when Tytus Banaszak tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 23 minutes, Mickey Harrell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Key West FC and the Zamalek FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 23rd match minute, Key West FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mickey Harrell to maneuver through the defense. Tytus Banaszak blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claudinei Montenegro having to make a save. Claudinei Montenegro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. 33 minutes in the game, Mugurel Balaeț fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Claudinei Montenegro having to interfere. Claudinei Montenegro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Reese Otto's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. The supporters of Key West FC booed when Zamalek FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mugurel Balaeț didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Calvin Yarbrough stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Reese Otto made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Key West FC's Claudinei Montenegro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Claudinei Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tytus Banaszak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 57 minutes, Tytus Banaszak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zamalek FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tytus Banaszak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 60th minute of the match Chunche Montero shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Claudinei Montenegro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by Zamalek FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bradly Owen was slow to take the kick. During this time Key West FC's players had a chance to rest. Key West FC's Bradly Owen was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rhys Dimmock in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Key West FC's Claudinei Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tytus Banaszak in the 65th minute of play. In the 69thth minute of the game Daron Joseph who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Key West FC's Claudinei Montenegro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zamalek FC made a substitution. 武挺西 replaced Tytus Banaszak. In the 71st minute Zamalek FC were awarded a corner. Chunche Montero went to the cornerflag to take it. At last the ball reached Mugurel Balaeț at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Key West FC. 5-0. Daron Joseph sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daron Joseph's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claudinei Montenegro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daron Joseph in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claudinei Montenegro saved Key West FC from getting behind. Claudinei Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daron Joseph in the 84th minute of the match. Key West FC's Claudinei Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viktor Schukin in the 85th minute of play. The corner ended in Chunche Montero almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Key West FC's Claudinei Montenegro did a great save. A collision led to Zamalek FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Diogo Queirós hit a great ball. Calvin Yarbrough in the 94thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rhys Dimmock, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Claudinei Montenegro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daron Joseph's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Zamalek FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
