Spectators: 165 (Terracing: 124, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leonardo Lane started the match with the kick off. When Winford Craig fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored American Top Team's protests and gave Winford Craig a yellow card for diving instead. Winford Craig hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. 14 minutes into the game, one of American Top Team:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Trevor Michaud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Lane in the 17th minute of play. After 17 minutes, Zack Grier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zamalek FC and the American Top Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of American Top Team booed when Zamalek FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zack Grier didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Shawn Ashby in the 19th minute really tested Rhys Dimmock's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 20 minutes into the match, American Top Team's goal looked a bit too open when Reese Otto came free, but Trevor Michaud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 21 minutes of play, Zamalek FC's Mugurel Balaeț made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Trevor Michaud was left in no man's land by his defense there! Trevor Michaud showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Lane, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. When Leonardo Lane came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Zamalek FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonardo Lane couldn't finish the play. In the 26th minute, Mugurel Balaeț made a precise shot to the right of Trevor Michaud. American Top Team's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. After a defensive mix-up in American Top Team's zone, Mugurel Balaeț stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Trevor Michaud came out of the goal and Mugurel Balaeț tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the American Top Team defense, Chunche Montero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Trevor Michaud. The American Top Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Trevor Michaud should have stopped the shot. If Mugurel Balaeț had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. American Top Team's Trevor Michaud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reese Otto in the 46th minute of play. Trevor Michaud came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Zamalek FC's Diogo Queirós. But to his dismay, Diogo Queirós quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-9 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arnoldo Short was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Zamalek FC's Reese Otto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Trevor Michaud. That made the score 0-10 after 52 minutes of play. Diogo Queirós received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Trevor Michaud came out and tried to block the shot, but Diogo Queirós slotted it home off the left post making it 0-12 in the 59th minute. After a defensive mix-up in American Top Team's zone, Leonardo Lane stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Trevor Michaud came out of the goal and Leonardo Lane tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonardo Lane got free with Trevor Michaud in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Trevor Michaud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daron Joseph, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Trevor Michaud came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Zamalek FC's Reese Otto. But to his dismay, Reese Otto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-13. Reese Otto scored 0-14 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Trevor Michaud, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. American Top Team's Trevor Michaud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diogo Queirós in the 76th minute of play. Trevor Michaud showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diogo Queirós in the 77th minute of the match. Trevor Michaud made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Chunche Montero sent off a good shot on target. After 79 played minutes American Top Team got a freekick which was hit by Winford Craig. Trevor Michaud came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Zamalek FC's 武挺西. But to his dismay, 武挺西 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-15. Reese Otto took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Trevor Michaud. Trevor Michaud dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-16. In the 88th minute, Reese Otto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Trevor Michaud was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-17. Trevor Michaud showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daron Joseph in the 92nd minute of the match. With a little luck, American Top Team's Trevor Michaud got control of the ball when 武挺西 tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 94th minute Diogo Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trevor Michaud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 97 minutes into the game, Zamalek FC's Daron Joseph nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Trevor Michaud made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-18.
