After having played for 12 minutes, Chunche Montero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zamalek FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chunche Montero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reese Otto got free with Marcell Lengyel in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mugurel Balaeț kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute Alessio Uguccioni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rhys Dimmock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mugurel Balaeț got free with Marcell Lengyel in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcell Lengyel made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Reese Otto sent off a good shot on target. In the 24th minute, Clark Holloway hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute, Reese Otto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcell Lengyel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Kirkpatrick in the 27th minute of the match. Reese Otto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Marcell Lengyel made a huge save. 31 minutes into the game, one of American Airlines:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Reese Otto shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Clark Holloway charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clark Holloway the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Clark Holloway kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Zamalek FC's Marcell Lengyel threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fred Kirkpatrick, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 尤明广 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcell Lengyel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fred Kirkpatrick's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Fred Kirkpatrick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcell Lengyel having to interfere. Reese Ottos short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Marcell Lengyel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice moves Reese Otto could shoot a difficult shot in the 44th minute, which Marcell Lengyel however easily saved by the left post. Marcell Lengyel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reese Otto in the 44th minute. 45 minutes into the match, American Airlines's goalkeeper Marcell Lengyel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reese Otto. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fred Kirkpatrick in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcell Lengyel saved American Airlines from getting behind. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 尤明广 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Reese Otto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 53 minutes, Reese Otto made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. American Airlines's Marcell Lengyel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Zamalek FC's Diogo Queirós got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as American Airlines's Alessio Uguccioni slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rhys Dimmock. That made the score 2-1 after 62 minutes of play. Marcell Lengyel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred Kirkpatrick in the 65th minute of play. After 69 minutes of play, Zamalek FC's Reese Otto made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcell Lengyel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zamalek FC's 武挺西 was substituted for Reese Otto. When Zamalek FC's Fred Kirkpatrick in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye American Airlines's goalie prevented a goal. Marcell Lengyel came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Zamalek FC's 武挺西. But to his dismay, 武挺西 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Marcell Lengyel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 武挺西 in the 81st minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, American Airlines's goal looked a bit too open when 武挺西 came free, but Marcell Lengyel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in American Airlines's zone, Fred Kirkpatrick stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcell Lengyel came out of the goal and Fred Kirkpatrick tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcell Lengyel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 武挺西, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 武挺西 in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcell Lengyel saved American Airlines from getting behind. After having played for 95 minutes, Alessio Uguccioni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. American Airlines's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alessio Uguccioni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
