The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Edmund Schumacher made a great header on Truchampionero FC's corner, it was just that Key West FC's Claudinei Montenegro managed to reach the ball for a save. Claudinei Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilbur Bain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claudinei Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilbur Bain in the 12th minute of the match. Claudinei Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 余帆南 in the 17th minute of play. Truchampionero FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by 余帆南 in the 18th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Edmund Schumacher heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Claudinei Montenegro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilbur Bain, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The audience was convinced that Wilbur Bain's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claudinei Montenegro was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Key West FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when 余帆南 scored to the left of an out of position Claudinei Montenegro, making the score, 1-0. With a little luck, Key West FC's Claudinei Montenegro got control of the ball when Edmund Schumacher tried to sneak it across the goal line. Claudinei Montenegro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilbur Bain, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The supporters of Truchampionero FC booed when Key West FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bradly Owen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 余帆南 was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 45th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Calvin Yarbrough made a kick off. A collision led to Key West FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Marcus MacKenzie hit a great ball. Wilbur Bain took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Claudinei Montenegro. Claudinei Montenegro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 余帆南 made a great header on Truchampionero FC's corner, it was just that Key West FC's Claudinei Montenegro managed to reach the ball for a save. Claudinei Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilbur Bain in the 76th minute of the match. Mickey Harrell kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the game, Truchampionero FC's Wilbur Bain nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claudinei Montenegro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Claudinei Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Branco in the 84th minute of the match. Monroe Braun kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. 余帆南 was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 88th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. With 90 minutes on the clock, Vinicio Natanael commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The goalkeeper, Cheng Hao Wei, was totally fooled by Key West FC's Monroe Braun, who 92 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Truchampionero FC's Wilbur Bain got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Truchampionero FC had won after a very even match.
