With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emerson Recife prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 30 played minutes, C. A. Pipon Pipon's Al Whatley shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Emerson Recife came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C. A. Pipon Pipon reached it. Cruz Bragg hit a great ball. 80 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lincolnwood's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Justus Lintorf was slow to take the kick. During this time C. A. Pipon Pipon's players had a chance to rest. Lanny Valle was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. C. A. Pipon Pipon's Beto Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 85 minutes into the match, C. A.
