Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgardo Silva in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Moisés Nóbrega prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Huestes de Excalibur booed when New England Minas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xiao Bang Kun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Charlie Jansson could shoot a difficult shot in the 89th minute, which Jeremy Nicholas however easily saved by the left post. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Huestes de Excalibur's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 96th minute Edgardo Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moisés Nóbrega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. New England Minas's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
